Blacksmith experience – forging a bottle opener

Come and try the blacksmith craft! Become a blacksmith for one day and experience what it is like to stand by the furnace all day! You will certainly not leave empty-handed, you will always go home with a product of your own making!

Discover the real blacksmith hard work for which you can reward yourself after this experience! During the workshop, you can forge your own stylish opener, which you will quickly use and will not want another! When forging, your hand will be guided by our experienced blacksmiths. So do not hesitate to come yourself or buy this experience for someone as a gift.

What can you expect?

This is an experience for guys who want to try a proper craft! You have the opportunity to learn about working with metal and fire within 1-2 hours, directly in our shop in the Old Town or in our new blacksmith and restoration workshop otherwise known as under the tail at the Museum.

How does it work?

Our blacksmith will show you how to heat a piece of iron and work it with a hammer on the anvil, how to shape it into an opener and you will create your own. You do not need any special equipment, we will provide you with tools and materials. We recommend wearing work clothes, that you do not mind getting a little dirty, and some sturdy shoes. We will be happy to lend you all other protective equipment.

How much does it cost and where can you forge your product together with our blacksmiths?

For a total of 2500, – CZK in our shop in Rybná 21, Prague – Old Town or also in our new blacksmith and restoration workshop under the tail at the Museum you have the opportunity to learn about working with metal and fire within 1-2 hours.

Who is it suitable for?

For men from 15 years of age (possibly also for women, for minors we want a signed consent of the legal guardian).

What will you take home with you?

In addition to a new experience and a new skill, you will also take home a self-made product.
