You say to yourself, isn’t it possible to make a candle that fits like a glove in a blacksmith’s workshop? If you come in pairs to our blacksmith and workshop workshop, which we have newly built for you right next to Wenceslas Square, we will prove to you that it is possible!
Experienced blacksmiths will guide you in the blacksmith’s workshop while our young designer Karolina, who has many years of experience in making candles from natural wax and candle making is her real passion, will be in the same place next to you in the workshop. You will take away from this joint experience a candle holder and a candle that you can light together the same evening.
Description
Come and try your hand at blacksmithing! Become a blacksmith for a day and experience what it is like to stand all day at the forge! You won’t leave empty-handed, you will always take away your own product during our blacksmithing experience!
Get to know the real blacksmith work experienced by our blacksmiths. They have to forge candlesticks almost every day! Want to find out what it’s like? So come to our experience fittings, where you will be able to try to forge such a candlestick yourself. When forging, your hand will be guided by our experienced blacksmiths. So do not hesitate to come or buy this experience to someone as a gift.
What can you expect?
So this is an experience for men and women who want to try a proper craft! You have the opportunity to get to know the work with metal and fire within 2- 3 hours, directly in our shop in the Old Town or also in our new blacksmith and restoration workshop called. pod ocasem na Muzeu.
How does it work?
Our blacksmith will show you how to heat a piece of iron and work it with a hammer on the anvil into a candlestick and you will create your own. You do not need any special equipment, we will provide you with tools and materials. We recommend wearing work clothes, that you do not mind getting a little dirty, and some sturdy shoes. We will be happy to lend you all other protective equipment.
How much does it cost and where does it take place?
Total price 4500,- CZK in our shop in Rybná 21, Prague – Old Town or in our new blacksmith and restoration workshop called. pod ocasem na Muzeu máte možnost během 1 – 2 hodin poznat práci s kovem a ohněm.
Who is it suitable for?
For men from 15 years of age (possibly also for women, for minors we want a signed consent of the legal guardian).
In addition to a new experience and a new skill, you will also take home a self-made product.
