The story of Magister Kelly

Magister Kelly was a renowned alchemist and magician, whom Emperor Rudolf II had summoned to his court from England because of his reputation. Kelly is said to have accomplished many unprecedented things in his laboratory, one of which was the transformation of clay into precious metals.
Our jewellery workshop may not be an alchemist’s laboratory, but it too has its charm. With the help and assistance of our skilful jewellery maker Alice, you can do similarly amazing things that the Emperor himself would have marvelled at.

You and your family are cordially invited to join us and to try your hand at jewellery making. Spend a truly extraordinary time with your loved ones creating one-of-a-kind jewels.

In this course, children and parents will learn how to work with modelling silver. They can try different techniques of working with the modelling clay. For the youngest children we have prepared moulds with animals.

The course is one big adventure for parents and children, and apart from the experience itself, you will also take away your unique handmade silver jewellery as a souvenir.
