Syphon Skewer

Grilling is not only a treat for the taste buds, but it is also a great opportunity to spend a pleasant time with family or friends. But we went further in our thinking and came up with an idea to spice up this pastime with an extra touch of style.

The idea comes from our design arm, Design Look Studio, which incorporates the need for social responsibility towards the planet into its products. In the spirit of upcycling, we therefore designed the skewer handles to be made from soda syphon cartridges.

Soda syphon cartridges are considered consumables that soon after use end up at the bottom of the waste bin or in the best case, in metal collection recycling points. Due to their specific purpose, their reuse is very problematic.

Thanks to this product, you will not only get your hands on a practical culinary tool of exceptional design, but every time you sit by the fire, you can also feel warm because you have helped a little to reduce waste.

The needles are suitable both for outdoor grilling and for use in the domestic oven.

The skewer blades are made from AK5 stainless steel produced in the Czech Republic at the POLDI steel plant in Kladno, thanks to which you can be sure that the food will not be contaminated with rust. However, please keep in mind that, as with other stainless steels, it is necessary to dry the product after use and optimally, to apply an oily protective film to the surface (ordinary cooking oil is sufficient).
