Damascene knife is sharpened and made in our forge Hefaistos in Prague.
It is made of Swedish stainless steel (RWL 34 and DMC27).
The hardening and tempering of the knife takes place in specialised conditions and at precise temperatures.
The material used for the stem is stabilized alder, ebony and brass.
Description
The Damascene knife is made of composite Swedish stainless steel created from RWL34 and DMC27 steels. Damasteel has extensive experience in the processing of modern stainless steels and their materials are a sought-after commodity among knife makers worldwide. The knife is bonded to the handle with a transparent epoxy resin. The whole product is based on the combination of traditional handmade knife production with the use of the latest technologies and materials.
